Windset Farms to Expand Its Delta Facility

In the summer of 2026, greenhouse operator Windset Farms will add 38 acres of “ultra lit” production to its facility in Delta, British Columbia. This addition will bring the company’s total lit cultivation area to 85 acres along with another 45 acres of traditional, non-lit production. In 2027, Windset plans to add another 38 acres of production, bringing the total cultivation area in Delta to 168 acres.

In an attempt to minimize the environmental footprint of every vegetable it grows, the facility has advanced water processing and recycling, nutrient recapture, and improved automated climate management systems.

The facility is already under construction, with the first planting scheduled for late summer 2026.
