Gotham Greens Announces New CEO with Leadership Restructure

In alignment with its 15th anniversary, Gotham Greens has announced a new leadership structure to continue and power its work in sustainable agriculture, fresh produce production, and high-tech greenhouses. 

Viraj Puri, the co-founder of Gotham Greens who has served as the company’s CEO since 2008, announced his transition to the role of executive chairman, in addition to the appointment of Craig Stevenson as the new CEO. 

In his new role, Puri will guide and advise the company’s board of directors and leadership team on long-term strategy and growth, including the brand’s new CEO.

Prior to his role at Gotham Greens, Stevenson most recently served as the CEO of Lundberg Family Farms, a U.S. Regenerative Organic Certified Food brand.  

“Craig is an experienced leader with a track record of transforming and growing consumer-focused businesses,” Puri said as part of his announcement on LinkedIn. “Our mission stays the same: sustainable agriculture, continued investment in greenhouse infrastructure, and fresh food product innovation.”
