Lubing recently launched its OptiCOOL Evaporative Cooling Pad System, a plastic pad system that creates optimal growing conditions for plants by removing hot air, reducing humidity, and improving airflow efficiency in greenhouse facilities.

How it Works:

  1. Water is transported through the system from a pump station and directed onto the pads with a water distribution pipe and deflector.
  2. The water flows over the grooved surface of the pad, removing heat from the air flowing through it.
  3. The remaining water is used to clean the pads and flows back to the supply unit through a water channel system.

Other Features:

  • All parts of the plastic pad system are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or stainless steel.
  • The system doesn’t require an external water tank.
  • The newly designed water trough has a rodent-proof cover and distributes water over the entire pad length.
  • Growers can easily clean the pads with a power washer.
  • Since Lubing’s plastic pads have a longer lifespan than paper pads, growers don’t need to replace them as often.

The plastic pad system is available in different sizes and power levels. For more information about the OptiCOOL Evaporative Cooling Pad System, go here: https://lubingusa.com/poultry-products/coolingpad/.
