Nick Testa
The Director of Cultivation at Farming Turtles in Exeter RI, Nick Testa is a horticulturalist with almost 20 years of experience in the field of closed environment agriculture. Nick’s experience has led to the growth of several companies in his career, as well as, founding the most profitable Cannabis company in his home state of Rode Island.
Nick Graduated with honors from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelors in Science from the college of Environmental Horticulture. During his education at URI Nick was awarded grants to perform hydroponic vegetable research in university greenhouses to help further the understanding of crops interactions with alternative growing methods. To this day nick continues to have a relationship with URI regularly lecturing in hydroponics, greenhouse management, and advanced vegetables classes.
