Erica Renaud is an experienced Executive Leader in Seed, Agriculture and Organics who creates teams, products and opportunities by using her innovative, data-driven approaches to strategic planning and organizational design to enable growth, influence policies, and launch products across the world. Erica believes that by bringing the best genetics to growers we can create better tasting, more diverse, and healthier foods for all.
Erica is a Product Developer and Marketer who excels at R&D, operational production, and strategic planning. She built, scaled and led a high-performing organic seed production and breeding company in the North American region from scratch. Currently she delivers her deep wisdom and knowledge as a consultant to seed, food and agriculture companies around the world through her consultancy Burgeon & Bloom Consulting, LLC. She is presently working with Topian, the Agriculture division of Neom, as the Product Innovation and Commercialization Manager focusing on product development, operational excellence, and route to market for fresh produce grown in high-tech greenhouse operations in Saudi Arabia.
Erica is trained in organic agriculture and sustainable systems and holds a PhD in Plant Breeding from Wageningen University in The Netherlands, a Master of Science (MSc) in Agroecology from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Development & Environmental Resource Management from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
